Accounting Services
Our accounting services are fully compliant with the Accounting Act, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), or Croatian Financial Reporting Standards (CFRS), depending on the size and needs of the client. We also operate in accordance with regulations on Value Added Tax (VAT), income and profit taxes, as well as other relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of Croatia. In every case, we adapt to the specific accounting policies of each client.
Our accounting services include:
- Bookkeeping services: maintaining trial balances, general ledgers, analytical records, calculating depreciation, recording cash transactions
- Calculation of Value Added Tax (VAT): controlling incoming invoices, calculating VAT, maintaining prescribed records (books of incoming and outgoing invoices), reconciliation with the Tax Administration
- Quarterly financial statements according to applicable Croatian regulations
- Annual financial statements according to Croatian regulations
- Preparation and completion of forms for the Croatian National Bank (related to loans and equity investments from abroad)
- Maintaining registers for foreign trade operations and payments (control book)
- Registration in the VAT system with the Tax Administration for new clients
- Delivery of documents and forms to clients, banks, Tax Administration, FINA, HZZO, HZMO, and other relevant institutions
- Submission of mandatory forms via the internet
- Assisting auditors during the audit of financial statements
- Support to the Tax Administration and other supervisory bodies during inspections

Flexibility and Adaptation to Client Needs
Our services are fully adaptable to the specific requirements of each client.
- Maintaining the general ledger according to the standard Croatian chart of accounts or according to the client’s chart of accounts
- Maintaining the general ledger, preparing trial balances, and reports in English
- Structuring data in the accounting program in a form suitable for electronic delivery to clients
Advanced Reporting Options
We continuously upgrade our software support to enable clients to have detailed reports that meet specific needs, including:
- Maintaining the general ledger for multiple business years simultaneously
- Preparing financial statements for periods shorter than a business year (e.g., every ten days, bi-monthly, monthly) in Croatian and English
- Reports at the level of the entire company, profit centers, cost locations, or specific segments
- Recording transactions in foreign currencies with the ability to display in the transaction’s reference currency (e.g., EUR and Kuna)
- Reporting according to exchange rates and currencies relevant to the client and/or their branches
- Tracking transactions according to multiple categories, e.g., by partners and profit centers or by currencies
